It's sunday.
I'm leaving on tuesday for vienna.

no. I still haven't packed yet.

Monday, like I think I've already said, was spent walking and BBQing with my class. It was a gorgeous day.

Afterwards I had dinner in a nice restaraunt with Anna and Franz,
who I babysit, and their mother (also called Anna).

On wednesday I had my last Salon Orchester rehearsal, and we had our last AFS meeting (it's not actually a 'meeting', we just go for drinks and talk), and I said goodbye to Peter, who's off to Boston (or Huston? I forget which. Texas somewhere I think), before heading to Poland to do his compulsory military service.

Friday night was my kinda.. leaving party. Tobi, Priska, Matze, Peter (in the photo), Olivia and I went to a japanese restaraunt and ate sushi, before heading into town. Andrea and Bambi both turned up too, which was nice. Unfortunately, we lost Tobi, and I hadn't realised that he was travelling to Oberösterreich on saturday morning, so I left without finding him and saying goodbye, which I got quite upset about when I found out. However, the other goodbyes (Priska and Matze are now in Germany, looking after little kids) went as well as goodbyes can go. They took me up to the dome after school on friday, except not to the dome itself, but onto the rooves, where we had to sneak through offices and climb through windows to get to. We watched the silver lady standing on her collumn, twirling her silver rose and blowing kisses to the tourists.

Saturday morning, after four hours sleep, was spent in Tux with Andrea and Hanni. It was Beautiful. Afterwards, I was dropped off in Hall, near to where Michi lives, for his leaving party. We went to a bbq, with all his friends, which was lovely, and then went to sing karaoke. It was the first time I'd ever tried karaoke, and I can report back that it was as bad as I thought it'd be (it was bad. the singing i mean. Ok.. most of the singing. Including me.) , and as fun as I thought it'd be (it was really fun!).

I don't have the photos from saturday night yet, as my camera ran out of battery, but this is Michi, Kristen and Stefan (Stefan is Michi's brother, and he and Kirsten have a one year old daughter called Alissa) practising, from last week.

I slept overnight at Michi's because the busses didn't run back to Innsbruck at that time of the night, and then today we had to wake up at 6am (struggle!!! and after only two hours sleep!). At 7.30 we left the house, and I was dropped off at my busstop, where I said goodbye. I've just talked with Michi on skype, who is finding London very .. different, and strange, especially after only four hours sleep since Friday. He'll be staying there for five weeks, doing an englisch course for uni. I'm sure he'll have a wonderful time though, once he's gotten over the strangeness of being away from home.

This afternoon I was supposed to be going swimming with nicola and hannah in the baggersee, but then I lay down for a couple of minutes, meaning to start packing after a little break, and woke up a few hours later. I briefly caught up with Bambi in Technik, who was on his way back to Südtirol from his girlfriend's house somwhere furthur northwest of Innsbruck I think.
It was really strange saying goodbye to Bambi. I was really.. fidgity, and nervous I guess. From all of my friends that I've made in Austria, Bambi has been around the longest, and has really helped me the most, and been among the most patient of people (I'll talk about Andrea when I finally say goodbye to her. Ohgosh. not thinking about saying goodbye to andrea!).
I didn't want to say goodbye to Bambi. It didn't feel right saying goodbye to him.

anyway. So that's it. Tomorrow I'll hopefully meet up with Nici, give my fencing clothes back, and then Andrea, Matze and I are going to a concert in the evening.
Tuesday's train leaves at 9.30am. I'll be back, of course, next week but only to see Andrea, Matze, Jürg Hanni and hopefully Sabbi if she's around. So this, for me is really the end.

And I hate endings. Look, I don't know how to finish this post.

hrm..
